2. Go out in the sun - even in the cold
Vitamin D is essential for an intact immune system. We take in part of our needs through food, for example from fatty fish. But our body itself also makes an important contribution: If the sun's rays hit the skin, it independently produces vitamin D. Especially in the autumn and winter months, when the UV radiation is lower thanks to the cloud cover, you should spend as much time outdoors as possible to get your healthy dose. If there is a vitamin D deficiency, taking vitamin D supplements can be discussed with a doctor in the light-poor months. In addition, a visit to an infrared sauna can be beneficial. But basically, if the sun is shining and not too strong, go outside and enjoy the pleasant warmth on your skin. Your body thanks you.
